Dear fellow birders;
The Virginia Bluebird Society is looking for volunteers to monitor its
bluebird box trails in different parts of Fairfax County. No experience is
necessary, as we will train anyone who is interested in spending a couple of
hours, one week a month, working as a member of a team on one of our trails.
You would be outdoors between April and September taking your turn counting
and recording the eggs and chicks inside bluebird boxes especially designed
for cavity nesting birds. It can be most enjoyable walking these trails in
our beautiful local parks. If you have the time, and would be interested in

VBS also has trails all over VA and if you live elsewhere in our beautiful
state, and would be interested in monitoring a bb trail, contact Barbara

in contact with trail leaders in your area.
