2 female Harlequin duck still present in Yorktown close to shore and the
floating docks.
There was also a diving duck that looked very like a female Long-tailed
Duck. A little larger than the Harlequin with a white cheek and upper neck.
Brownish patch high on the neck. White lower body, - particularly noticeable
from the back view. Fast flyer and frequent flyer. Briefly mingled with the
Buffleheads and Harlequins. Other possibility is a Horned Grebe but it was
more active and did not have a red eye. Hope someone else sees it for a
positive id!
