VA-Birders,
If Yellow-throated Warblers are at Possum Point, they must be at
Leesylvania, so reasoned Sharon Lynn and I this morning. And indeed
they are. We chased the most wonderful warbler song of early spring
until we located the bird in the picnic area, high in the canopy.
Good looks and--what could signal spring more than anything else--the
onset of "warbler neck."
Less exciting, but very satisfying, was the view of our first of the
season Chipping Sparrow, trembling in song. http://www.pbase.com/ ;
