Late this morning I checked out Green Springs Park on Braddock Road near
Little River Turnpike in Annandale. To my surprise, I spotted a
Yellow-Breasted
Chat lurking in the brush. The bird later sang, confirming my ID. There
was also a Magnolia Warbler in the same spot. To find them, go up the hill
from the parking lot to the field with the dirt piles. Look in the brush and
trees near the chain-linked fence.
