It was a crisp morning on the Hike/Bike trail, but the cloud patterns were
beautiful.  The highlight was a pair of woodcocks foraging in the leaves
within 20 feet of the trail in the woods just past the first meadow.  I have
rarely gotten a long view of a woodcock in good light.  What a gorgeous
bird!  Good diversity of sparrows.  Catbirds and phoebe still hanging in.
Other notables:

Red-tailed
Sharpie
Flicker 8 (down from previous weeks)
Phoebe 1
Creeper 3
GC kinglet 13
RC kinglet 1
Waxwing 20
Hermit thrush 6
Catbird 2
Yellow-rumped 20
Fox sparrow 6+ (at least 4 noisily foraging under the fallen pine by the
first meadow)
Song 35
White-throated 45
Junco 20
Swamp 3
Savannah 1
Field 8

In addition, on Thanksgiving morning near Upperville in Fauquier County, I
got to listen to a RAVEN vocalizing for a while, and later found 2 RB
nuthatches.

Looking forward to CBCs.
