On the 16th we had 2 WOOD THRUSH singing, RED-EYED VERIO singing, 1 SCARLET
TANAGER singing, OVENBIRD SINGING, and still had 5 PURPLE FINCH.
On the 17th we had 4 PURPLE FINCH, PEWEE, RED-EYED VERIO, and WOOD THRUSH.
This morning we had the male RED-SHOULDERED HAWK catching crayfish to take to
his mate on the nest.
