Hola,
Joanne Taylor just called me, and at ten-thirty AM, she was looking at the Wood
Stork at First Landing State Park. She was viewing from the trail that runs on
the other side of the marsh on the south side of the road. I've also heard
that the bird was indeed seen briefly on Monday by at least one observer.
I spent close to six hours hanging around First Landing on Saturday, and was
able to see the bird several times. The four different sightings of the bird
were from three different locations, though all within about a quarter-mile or
so stretch, mostly from the "Take Nothing But Photographs..." sign west to the
last little puddle of water on the south side of the road.
Cheers,
Todd Day
