Greetings,
This afternoon I made a brief stop at the Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority and
saw the cutest sight! Way out in the middle of this huge expanse of the lake,
a mama Wood Duck with 8 (? it was hard to tell how many 'cause they were
packed in so tightly) kids in tow, moving at a very fast clip. I was amazed
at the distance and speed with which those little guys could travel,
considering their tender young age. Gem of a sight!
