Birders,

Following birds observed in the yard today:

Winter Wren (1)
Red-breasted Nuthatch (1)
Purple Finch (2,3)
White-throated Sparrow (4,3)
N. Junco (2, 1)
Sharp-shinned Hawk (1)


ALSO:

Yellow-throated Vireo (1)
Blue-headed Vireo (1)
Red-eyed Vireo (1)
Yellow-throated Warbler
Pine Warbler (1,0)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (2,1)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (4, 3)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (6)
Wood Duck (1,1)
Mallard (1, 1)
Great-blue Heron (6 in tight formation flying over)
Red-tailed Hawk (2)
Red-shouldered Hawk (1,1)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (1,0)
"Black-chinned Hummingbird" (1,0) - Maybe... still under review!
(closely observed twice and showed no red in throat but may be light conditions, no purple seen at base of gorget)

Blue Jays, Cardinals, Titmice, Bluebirds, Chickadees, Robins, Field Sparrows............
