Stilt Sandpipers on a little rainwater pond on the north side of Capeville
Road, a little ways west of Rte 13 in Northampton Co. yesterday afternoon. I
think this is the first time I've seen this species (regular at Chincoteague
and
Craney) in this county, but I haven't gone back to look at older records.
Fields just to the east of the pond had 8 Black-bellied and 108 Semipalmated
Plovers.
