The Whimbrel that has been hanging around the west side of Craney Island
(Portsmouth, Va) for the last two weeks has been joined by another. Also
seen this morning were three Wilson's Phalaropes. The phalaropes were seen
in a pool of water just north of the south cross-dike a couple hundred yards
from the east end of the cross-dike. The pool with the phalaropes also held
White-rumped Sandpiper, Shoveler, and Green-winged Teal. No exotic gulls
:-(
