All,

Yesterday, 3/15, a single glossy ibis flew north over the south side of
Cape Charles town, Northampton County, Eastern Shore. This afternoon,
around 3:30, an hour or so after low tide, at Willis Wharf, 18 MARBLED
GODWITS, 38 WILLETS, 21 DOWITCHER SP. and 2  WHIMBREL. Plus a half dozen
red-breasted mergansers, 2 hooded mergansers, 2 great blue heron,
assorted gulls, some mouthy starlings and mockingbirds and a shocking
number of pigeons.

Two active eagle nests within the town limits have birds on the nest
acting as though they are tending hatchlings. Great blue herons are
rehabbing their nests in the small rookeries on Old Plantation and Kings
Creeks.
