The White-winged Dove at Cape Charles returned the backyard at 9
Randolph Avenue only just before dusk on Saturday, where it sang
incessantly before apparently going to roost, according to Steve
Hairfield (so much for the assumption that the bird's not a male!).
Steve was not there yesterday or today, so I don't have any more recent
word. I'll look (and listen) for the bird tomorrow morning and post
further word here.
