This s a bit of subject, but thought people might find a Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker sighting interesting. Not becase it was a Sapsucker, but becuse I
saw it in the Highlands of Western Guatemala at 10,000 feet in a juniper forest
this past Friday. For a bird that winters as far noth as Virgina and New
Jersey, it's fun to see it in it's far southern winter range too!
