The Potomac Valley Audubon Society's Cathy Shewbridge Waterfowl Outing
scheduled for this Sunday, February 23, has been rescheduled. Here is the
information and the new date:
Sunday, March 9 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Cathy Shewbridge Waterfowl Outing PVAS
members Lynn Wiseman, Tess England and Bruni Haydl will again be leading us
on this popular birding trip formerly known as The Waterfowl on the
Shenandoah River. Birding beginner or just curious? Come on out, this
one's for you! Experienced birder? Our members are reporting seeing a
wide variety of ducks and other waterfowl along with a mature Bald
Eagle! Who knows what we'll be seeing in two weeks! So, pack the kids,
the binoculars and scopes along with your winter gear and come join us.
We will meet at Bakerton Road, just west of Harpers Ferry, WV. Park on the
broad (west) side of the road until we leave at 1:00 p.m for the Bloomery
Road area and possibly Shannondale and the Potomac River. You may carpool
