This is an edit to the list of 45 species submitted to VA Bird yesterday
with the count for New Quarter Park Bird Walk in York County near
Williamsburg on August 26.

Bill Williams and Cynthia Long conferred and agreed that they both heard a
VIRGINIA RAIL in the marsh at Queen's Creek near the York River Saturday
morning, August 26. This is in addition to the CLAPPER RAIL we observed
through Bill's scope.

The other change to the list is the deletion of the EASTERN PHOEBE.

The Williamsburg Bird Club and New Quarter Park sponsor a bird walk every
2nd and 4th Saturdays. The next walks are September 9 at 8:00 a.m. and
September 23 at 7:00 a.m. They are free and open to the public. There is no
charge to enter the park.
