I received a report yesterday, and was able to look at photo and video
today, of a VARIED THRUSH in a backyard in Herndon. It was in someone's
backyard with a flock of American Robins. As far as I know she has not seen
it today.
I promised to not give an exact address, but can tell you the backyard is
near the intersection of Wiehle Ave. and Fairfax County Parkway.
She also sent a picture of a leucistic robin, mostly white with a grayish
head, also in a flock of robins.
Hoping someone else sees the bird - keep an eye out on those flocks of
robins!
