The Snowy Owl that perched on the barrel at National Airport flew across the
river and landed on a light pole on Bolling Joint Base, in DC.
A second Snowy was seen on the airport grounds, to the left and south of
marker "6"

There were quite a few hopeful people waiting to see the Snowy Owl(s) at
National Airport late this afternoon. One was finally located, right before
dusk, perched on a barrel near the runway just a bit to the right of the
"5". Shortly after it was located it flew over the red and white
checkered-roofed building and on up the river. No one that I know of saw
exactly where it went, although perhaps someone else will post with better
info.
Not the same show as people had last night but at least one was still there!
