Patty Elton and I arrived around 9:30 this morning, five minutes after Phil
Silas, Gerry Hawkins and Mike Bowen had seen it perched on the white sign
and then fly down into the dip out of sight. We waited in the cold until
10:30 with no luck, decided to take a break and came back around 11:30.
Thanks to a helpful airport employee we were able to relocate the bird at
the location that Stuart describes.

She (according to what some people were told by airport staff today) is
still here at 4:30. Viewed from the cul-de-sac. She's perching on the white
sign. She flew to the ground and out of sight for a few minutes. Hope she
had a snack! Gorgeous!!!! Pretty far away tho - a scope is a must.

The Snowy Owl left in the morning to sit out between two Piper Cub
Owl in the center.?Basically perched on a very small yellow sign, butmight as well be on the ground.? I am not very good
at estimating distances.? But I would figure at least 150 yards away.?There is also a long movable fence that clues you in.
The Owl? will be somewhat angled to the right from the fence.whole time.
