Julie Knight and I found nine Upland Sandpipers at the Woodward Turf Farm
near Remington Monday morning (August 22) about 10am. At first they were far
across the field mixed in with other birds, but an hour later the nine were by
themselves closer to Summerduck Rd (Rt651) so that we got good views with
the binoculars and great views in the scope. We also saw a group of American
Kestrels( 5 or 6) on Grassdale Road that were mentioned in an earlier post.
