I spent 80 minutes birding the two sections of Thompson Wildlife
Management Area, where it is adjacent to Leeds Manor Road, between 7:10
AM and 8:30 AM, with 45 degree temp, bright morning sun and no wind. By
way of editorial comment, I would like to add that I did not manage to
locate a single warbler - not even any yellow-rumped.
I think I'm doing something wrong here, but I don't know what. Were you
guys visiting the NW side of the WMA, above Linden, near the radio
towers? This weekend's glowing reports of warbler sightings mentioned
the Leeds Manor Road area. Was I in the wrong spot?
