There will be a bird walk at Great Falls National Park, VA, this Saturday,
May 4 starting at 8:00 AM. All are welcome, especially novice birders and
birders new to the park. Last Saturday 45 species were listed in two hours,
including six warbler species.
Bring your binoculers and support birding in the national parks. Meet at
the Visitors Center courtyard.
Great Falls National Park, McLean Virginia is 5.5 miles outside the Beltway
(I-495). Take Georgetown Pike (Route 193) west Exit 44 of I-495. Turn
right at light onto Old Dominion Drive (approximately 4.5 miles). Straight
1 mile to entrance station.
