It's a landslide! The Eastern Towhee is the clear winner as the bird I've
been hearing near my home. It most certainly sounded like "Drink Your
Teeeeeeea." And from what I was able to see of it, it would fit the physical
description as well. I'm going to run out and buy a CD of birdcalls as soon
as possible.
Many thanks to all of you who responded and for your friendly and encouraging
words. I can tell that I'm really going to enjoy birding and "bird people"
for a long time to come!
