VA-Birders:
To those of you in the storm's path. I thought you would like to know that
much help is headed your way to deal with possible damage.
At 2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) I estimated more than 100 large, powerline
construction trucks moving out of Tennessee northbound on I-81 into
Southwest Virginia at this far corner of the state.
.
They were enroute in four covys, the largest of which was about 33 trucks
from Louisiana, led by an escort.
The workers have already come a long ways to help and I have heard of more
flights of trucks moving earlier in the day. I am sure these guys will be
close at hand well before the storm.
