I was at Accotink Bay and the Ft. Belvoir side of Pohick Bay for about 20
minutes at lunchtime. I wasn't looking for eagles, but during that time I
saw two eagles fly over, one 2nd-year on a stump in the bay, and two mature
eagles perched together, looking down on the ducks.
If you wish to go onto Ft. Belvoir, bring your license, registration,
proof of insurance, and ask for directions to Warren Road.
