Sorry for my previous email from this phone that talked about snowy irks. Cold
fingers and an iPhone spell-correction don't work well together.
Anyways it was an amazing show here today. One very dark snowy and one much
whiter one. The whiter one was chased off by a red tail. Then it perched on the
checkered roof from which flew displaced by the very heavily barred one. The
whiter one perched atop a tree above the bike path. It opened its wings in a
protective way and we soon saw why. An adult peregrine was diving on it
repeatedly. Donald sweig got dome amazing photos of the owl. The Flying north
beyond north beach. There were certainly a lot more because I was only scanning
the ocean about 1/4 of the time time it opened its wings several minutes later
just before it took flight again landing on the grass bear the parkway with the
peregrine on its tail again.
