Props to the finder of this extremely accomodating bird.
After a futile search of the runways, roof tops, light posts, etc, (
from 11:30 to noon ) Brett Scheffers and I were blown away to find the
bird practically peering over our shoulders from the roof of the
elevator entrance behind us (at the far end of the parking garage
opposite the control tower).
I think it may have even tapped me on the shoulder a couple times but
I was too focused on dissecting plastic bags and other white pieces of
debris to pay it any mind... We soaked it up for the next hour+ before
departing; the bird didn't budge.
