Today winds were light and mostly westerly; blue skies with some early clouds,
a haze that was dreadful, especially since the birds were high and far out.
It seemed
quite slow today, but the last hour (a4-5 EST) produced 100+ birds!

There were lots of people up today, hoping for a humdinger of a day. We were
disappointed! Manana, maybe. The group included Jennifer Koenig, Mandy Neet,
Jesse Fulton, Todd Day, Bob Abrams.Joan Boudreau, B.J. Westerveldt, Jon
Little,
Ian Topolsky, et al. Good company and great eyes! I needed all the help I
could
get.
