Birders,
Not a terrific day; mostly blue skies with a few wispies, temps from 60 to
70+ a tad
degrees (Fahrenheit), light winds from the west. But I had good company,
what
with Jen Folts and BJ helping and Bob Blakeny visiting. Considering there
were
darn few birds, it wasn't washout! Hours coveed were from 9:00 to 2:45
birdtime.
The birds:
Harrier - 2
Sharpie - 29
Cooper's - 1
Red-shouldered - 1
Red-tailed - 9
Peregrine - 1
Unidentified - 1
TOTAL -44
Other birds of interest included a YB Sapsucker, some unidentified ducks and a
group of DC Corms. Blue Jays are fewer, and I don't remember any waxwings
(my memory isn't so terrific!)
