This AM Leonard Teuber and I saw a male Scarlet Tanager at Natural Chimneys in
Augusta County, the earliest I have seen one in the Shenandoah Valley.  Other
good sightings in the same park included Blue-headed Vireos, Sapsucker,
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, flock of Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and a RB Nuthatch
sipping water from a dripping spigot.  The best "heard bird" of the morning was
a White-eyed Vireo.
