VA Birders,
This morning my wife and I birded a reclaimed strip site within Buchanan
County located on Enoch's Branch near Grundy. Near the baseball field there
we found 5 Savannah Sparrows. We also had singing Field Sparrows, Eastern
Meadowlarks and Eastern Towhees drinking their tea. We also had  Hooded
Warblers, Black-throated Greens, a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and a Blue-headed
Vireo.
On the way back to the vehicle a Brown Thrasher ignored us and kept singing
from a tree as we walked by.

Enjoy the birds,

Roger Mayhorn
Grundy VA
