In response to the question about migrating ruby-throated hummingbirds, my
husband and I have been tracking those feeding in our gardens very closely. We
think some may have migrated, but we are still seeing several at the feeders
each day. Last year the birds left on September 22, and here it is October 13,
and they are still around. The warm weather may be a factor. What is the
latest date they have been spotted in Virginia?
