A pristine ROYAL TERN perched on a piling at the boat launch area of
Leesylvania Park was a bright spot on an otherwise damp, cold, overcast
Thursday
morning. Earlier, two singing YELLOW-THROATED WARBLERS were noted, one near
the
intersection of Cockpit and Possum Pt. Rds, the other on Possum Pt. Rd, about
1/2 mile down from the aforementioned intersection. GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS
were also present. No luck though with La. Waterthrush.
