Gentle Readers,
Mary Floyd, Sy Fishbein, and Barry Pearson led a group of 13 birders this
morning, Monday, May 3, 2004, in the light intermittent rain with no wind and
cool temperatures from 0700 to 0900. The best birds had to be the pair of
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK seen at the feeder at the Visitor's Center. That
Northern Virginia is enjoying a fallout of this species seems undisputable.
