We, too, had a rose breasted grosbeak at our feeder in the back. He arrived
about 5.30 pm and ate sunflower chips. one side of the feeder has the Grosbeak
and the other side a male northern cardinal. Very colorful. There seem to be
more than usual RBGB around the year. Many years ago we had one for a week and
I hope today's bird returns.
