A morning of birding in Rockingham county with a focus on ducks produced a
few birds. See list below.
Cold Spring Pond on 615 off 42 north of Timberville had a nice variety of
ducks including; Redheads, Canvasback, Hooded M, Pied billed Grebe, Coot,
Ring-necked. The pond at corner of 704 and RT 11 in Bridgewater had
Redheads, Canvasback and lots of Green-winged Teal. Lake Shenandoah -
regulars only. Tundra Swan at Lake Campbell along with Canvassback,
Redheads.
