Birders,
Dorothy Tella and I enjoyed today's clear, crisp morning at Riverbend. Warblers
were close and bright and included Black-throated Green, Magnolia,
Yellow-rumped, Common Yellowthroat, and Palm along the meadow trail near the
nature center, and a Black-throated Blue along the river near the visitor
center. Many Ruby-crowned Kinglets were flitting about as well as three
Golden-crowned Kinglets. We also spied a Blue-headed Vireo. Another birder
reported a Fox Sparrow in the wood piles along the meadow but we missed it. Our
