Laura Catterton phoned me a few minutes ago (7:45am) to report that the
Red-necked Grebe is still on the lake at Logan's Roadhouse in Manassas.
She said the bird was actually awake today! To reach this spot, take
I-66 west to Rt. 234 business and go towards Manassas. Turn right into
the shopping center just after the Salvation Army store and then follow
the road around til you reach the lake. If you miss the turn, you'll
see the lake on your right and you can turn at the next light and then
swing back around through the shopping center.
