Gentle Readers,
Two Red-headed Woodpeckers were seen down Barnyard Run this morning at Huntley
Meadows Park, 1/2/12005. The American kestrel which hass been seen in the Park
over the last few days remains active and was seen again today.
The gathering to remember and celebrate the life of Gene Keefe which was to be
held on Sunday, January 23, has been canceled due to the impending snow storm.
Gene was a dedicated birder who died last week; he will be missed by the local
birding community.
