I also saw one of these at around 2 p.m. in the McLean area (along Pimmit
run behind Kent Gardens school).

Not strictly a birding topic, but on our after lunch walk around the
neighborhood, we saw a Red Bat flying around and feeding in broad
daylight.
This seems unusual to say the least.
