I thought I would chime in with my own Phoebe sighting. After reading the
reports of Phoebes arriving in the area, I decided to get out to
Waverly-Foxstone Park in Vienna, VA, roughly between Beulah Road and Old
Courthouse Road. In years past there has been a pair of Phoebe that nest
under the footbridge that crosses the creek. As expected a Phoebe was
perched atop a large tree near the bridge singing away.
