During my route today, I was pishing up a flock of juncos from the big piles of
gravel near the buildings on Frontage Road when a lighter bird appeared--a
"Western" PALM WARBLER. Never seen one here in the winter.
I also had a couple of WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS and a single GOLDEN EAGLE on
Alpine Road.
