I just found out that I'm getting to go to Palm Springs, CA next month for work
- - woo-hoo! I ordered a couple of site guides from the ABA, but would
appreciate any tips, suggestions, or places to bird in that area (I'll have a
car and I plan to travel, so places like the Salton Sea possiblities).
My CA birding is pretty limited, and it's all be in No. Cal. so pretty much
everything down there will be new to me, so don't be shy about mentioning
common birds or the most basic information!
