At the Prince William landfill early this afternoon the only 'exotic' gulls
I could find were 2 (probably 3) adult Lesser Black-backs. There were at least
5 Bald Eagles present, three adults and two 1st-year birds.
At the UOSA facility (Fairfax County), there was little diversity but higher
numbers of mergansers than I have ever seen there, by a wide margin: over 70
Hoodeds and over 250 Commons.
