Despite inclement weather, I headed out to Huntley Meadows to do my weekly
survey. Only 27 species- geeez, I could almost do that well in my backyard,
but at least I got the 1st Ovenbird of the year along the Pond Trail. Also, 7
Rusty Blackbirds, some of them singing, were seen in the Woodcock meadow.
