This morning I saw a bird on the old Osprey nest in the James River
between the Ninth and Fourteenth Street bridges in downtown Richmond,
precisely the place and also just the right time for returning Osprey.
Two Peregrine Falcons have been frequenting the south side of the old
First National Bank building at Ninth and Main Streets in downtown
Richmond where they nested successfully in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
