[va-bird] Re: Oriole and Eagles at Occoquan Bay (6-26-04)

I don't think that there is any current cause for concern about the
bluebirds at Occoquan Bay NWR.  I arrived at the refuge this past Friday &
Saturday shortly after the gates opened at 7 am & had to drive slowly &
carefully into the refuge because there were numerous bluebirds (mostly
hatch year birds) loafing on the road between the entrance gate & the
parking lot, along with mourning doves and tree swallows (and cottontails).
