Several displaying woodcock
King rail
3 GH owls
indigo bunting (male)
common yellowthroat
8 or so savannah sparrows
10 scaup
many thrashers
5 yellow palm (one singing)
10 yellow-rumps
1 yellow-legs in breeding plumage
yellow-shafted flickers
2 yellow-breasted (eastern) meadowlarks
but no yellow-headed blackbirds
Also, although out a range, a family trip to Calvert Cliff State Park in
Maryland in the afternoon netted
3 yellow-throated warblers
2 very yellow pine warblers
1 parula
2 No. RW swallows
20 buffleheads
1 loon
