Visited Occoquan Bay for a few hours this AM. Highlights were a small flock
(5-8) of Bobolinks at the split between Fox and Bayview Rds. at 7:10; numerous
flycatchers throughout; a mixed group of 4-5 female Black-and-white Warblers,
one Red-eyed Vireo, two Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and one unidentified mostly
yellow warbler (first impression was Nashville or Mourning); a pair of Palm
Warblers in the cherry trees at the parking lot; and a group of 7-10 N.
Mockingbirds around the Bravo Rd. gate. Complete list follows.
