A little light rain this morning didn't deter me from spending an hour on
the Bright Hope Trail at Pocahontas State Park. BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLERS and
OVENBIRDS have arrived and were singing.
Bright Hope Trail (formerly Dance Forest Road) can be accessed from the
horse trailer parking lot on the south side of Beach Road a short distance west
of the main park entrance.
